Courses Overview

The serving and handling of food safely is essential for food handlers in the hospitality industry. This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses.

Responsible service of alcohol – known as RSA – is about providing rules and strategies for all types of businesses and organisations that sell or serve alcohol to minimise alcohol-related problems, including violence and anti-social behaviour. The course also includes how to implement best practice in the sale and supply of alcohol and the operation of licensed premises.

The perfect cocktail is a thing of beauty, and this course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to prepare and serve a range of modern and traditional cocktails. Students will also acquire the ability to promote, prepare and present attractive cocktails and experiment with ideas to develop new cocktail recipes.
