Our campus, student activities and support are world class

Student Life

At Aspire, we don’t expect you to spend your entire life with your head buried in a book! Aspire students are part of the wider community of the International College of Management, Sydney (CMS) and have access to facilities and campuses. Students can also enjoy the rich social and sporting life available daily during the term. Activities include: Rugby, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Swimming, Table Tennis, Soccer, Running Club, Swimming Club, Yoga and Zumba.

You can also take advantage of weekend trips to the snowfields and north coast. Take a day trip to the central coast to go whale watching, to hike the Blue Mountains, explore the Jenolan Caves or visit the Hunter Valley for a wine tour.

Social & Cultural Diversity

Aspire is proud of its diverse student body. We provide an accessible and inclusive learning environment that promotes fairness, equity and respect for social and cultural diversity, and that is free from discrimination and harassment. We want the teaching and learning environment, as well as the social and cultural environment, to support the participation of all our students.

We believe also that a sense of wellbeing is essential to a student’s learning and development, and critical to academic success. The Student Wellness Hub works within the Student Success Centre. If you are feeling overwhelmed at any time, or if a personal problem arises, the Wellness Team is the first place to seek advice on the following issues: Advice and support related to studies and referral counselling. Spiritual Support is offered through our Chaplain who runs an interdoniminals. The team members cater for our diversity. Advice and support in their academic studies

    Student Support

Aspire remains committed to the physical and emotional health and well-being of our students. If you feel overwhelmed at any time, or a personal problem arises, you can speak to our Student Services staff who can help and guide you in finding appropriate help.

Aspire offers a wide variety of support services for students. The Student Success Centre (SSC) is open Monday to Friday every week of the trimester and has programs in place to support not only academic learning but also your wellness.

The Academic Learning Advisors on all campuses will help you develop your academic skills and prepare you for the cultural change to tertiary student life. Take advantage of the support in areas such as: elective study techniques, note-taking skills, report and essay writing skills, referencing and citing, exam preparation, study techniques, writing skills, oral presentations, numeracy support, learning support for students with a disability, and Studiosity, which offers a 24/7 online academic support.

The SSC also runs a peer Assisted Learning Service (PALS). This is a student-driven program where high performing students volunteer to assist others in specific areas of their studies.

For more assistance, check out the Policy Library to find what you are looking for.
