Aspire Institute understands the additional pressures placed on students through significant involvement in sport and the performing arts and we believe this should be considered for entry to higher education. The Aspire Elite Athletes and Performers Admissions pathway is for students whose sport or performing arts commitments may have impacted on their studies.

ELIGIBILITY

Elite Athletes –

To be considered an elite athlete, you must have represented your school or state at national level competition during Years 11 and/or 12.

Elite Performers –

To be considered an elite performer, you must have performed in extended or significant productions during Years 11 and/or 12.

Step 1:

Complete an application form and submit the following documentation:

·       A personal statement

·       A letter of reference/support from your school. This can be provided by your Sports Coordinator, Year Coordinator, Principal etc.

·       A letter of reference/support from your coach, team official, state or national organisation, performing arts association/institute etc.

·       Your year 12 semester one results and trial HSC results (these can be sent at a later date once they become available)

Step 2:

Attend an interview with our panel of senior Aspire Institute staff. You will be allocated an interview time upon application.

Step 3:

You will be advised of the outcome of your application.
