Rationale
This subject introduces students to information technology applications and assists them to become familiar with common computer applications. Students will gain an understanding of the different social, ethical legal and environmental considerations and know how to match text, images and data when using specific applications
Learning Outcomes
a) Recognise terminology and concepts related to information technology
b) Name the social, ethical, legal and environmental considerations in information technology
c) Identify the different information technology applications
d) Match text, images and numerical data using information technology
e) Explain the use of electronic and paper-based information products using computer technology
Assessment
