How did you learn about Aspire Institute?

After learning about Aspire Institute at a careers expo and researching on the website, I joined their mailing list to receive more information. It was via this contact I learnt I could complete a diploma qualification, undertake an internship and graduate with my Bachelor degree at UTS.

What are some of your highlights from your time at Aspire?

There is this amazing network on campus amongst students of mixed cultures and with Aspires’ emphasis on small class sizes, everyone gets to know each other really well. I have learnt so much from my friends about other cultures and countries around the world.
I have also started my internship with the Aspire team as a Marketing Assistant. I have found it valuable to learn as much about all facets of business and management during my studies.

You are articulating to UTS, how are you feeling about this next stage?

I am really excited, I feel ready to transition to UTS 2nd year of my Bachelor degree. Aspire prepares us with the essential knowledge to continue studies and equips students with the skills for future challenges. I think it will be a different campus environment to Aspire however I am looking forward to the next stage of my degree.

Have you thought about what you want to do when you finish your degree?

I have always enjoyed business and throughout my time at Aspire I have developed a drive to start my own investment company in Hong Kong. This has motivated me to do well in all areas of my studies, work hard at my internship and focus on developing a business plan.
